Our Love Died Long Ago
I rememberThat night
My paradise
Her singing
Her skin gently pulling
As I pretend
To fall in love
"We live for this"
She said
But love is
Silent and cold
The ghost can dance and cry
On the rain cloud
Beside mine
Our Love Died Long Ago
I rememberTo have great poets there must be great audiences too.
Walt Whitman, American Poet (1819-1892)
