Parting is such sweet sorrow
Sweet sweet misery
The heat has taken over
My fever has run it's course
I'm free to live life as I never did before
Sweet sweet pain has seeped out my pores and left me drenched
In my final perspiration.
The rays I am no longer held subject to
have risen for the occasion
And as you weep
I can barely hold in my glee
For I am free can't you see
The freedom that radiates off me
like the beams of the suns rays from years of summer lived days
The oceans waters are crisp
The breeze vivacious and brisk
I'm free to do me
Free to be all that I was chosen to be before signing my lease
to these earth bound streets
I can soar like an Eagle
Gallop like a Stallion
Breathe fresh air from fresh breaths absorbed by fresh lungs
Snug in a sound vessel for the rest of eternity
I no longer have to suffer
from the bondage that earth had stricken me with
But just the night before last
You cry while I laugh
You mourn while I rejoice
You plead as I thank
You dream as I live
I am not dead
I am yet still alive
I am not dead
I am
Yet still alive
You can not hear me nor see me but I see thee and can't help but pity
For these times for you are rough
And I know right now the road seems rather rough without me
But I am free
No more worrying
No more fever
No more wondering where I'll go when I leave Earth
For I am still here living and breathing
You just can't see me
but hear me
I am the breeze you stick your head in
THe calmness of the seas
The releif shower when it's sizzling
The wood, stick, and leaves that you burn
to keep warm from the cold
I am in you, under you, above you and around you
I know you miss me
but it's not much longer now until
Your fever drops and the sorrows cease and the burdens decrease
As they did for me
Hold On
For He's coming
The nails only pierced the flesh
The thorns only symbolized the stress
The cross he had to bare
The hill had to be climbed
But don't you worry
Don't you fret
Reassurance comes in time
Parting is such sweet sorrow
But his promise will stand strong Tomorrow!
