Poem # 2
I loved you; why are you letting me go?
Even as I walk away; you never say ‘No!’
I won’t see your face for a while,
Even as I scream in my heart, my face still shows a smile
I’m in denial of the pain you put me through
The pain of having to go a day without you
You jump I jump; you said so pure
But I guess it was too much, and I’m just not sure.
You said you loved me, but didn’t take the jump
Every time I try to speak about you, I get a lump.
Maybe I should ask a poet, for I must have done something wrong.
You changed everything, and now my world seems empty, so wrong
I never wanted to part, but what else could I do?
Showing no emotion, that is the key to how I feel
You were the first one you ever really loved, damn you!
I never knew that having you would end up to be this kind of a deal.
