I am a free spirited open lesbian woman of color, that has endured many tragedies in life. Due to this fact of my life I have been writing poetry since the age of 16. I found writing, journaling a way of releasing the pain I felt. There have been some moments of joy as well and for the first time in my life at 44 yrs of age I am finally ready to share my thoughts, and feelings with the world. What I hope to accomplish by doing this; is that other women that have been abused mentally, emotionally, physically,and spiritually would find their voices and as well and share more then just their sorrows and hurts but their loves and happiness as well. We are not alone in this world and there is always someone that has had to endure what your going through in life as well. This is a reminder to those sista's from me that I care and hope you find a small measure of happiness from my moments of happiness in this world we call LIFE.
