Biography
CHINEDUM IREGBU (SAINT MAXZY) is a poet cum Journalist turned filmmaker from Nigeria. He is one of the new generation of filmmakers in Nigeria who are trying to make a difference in the Nigerian film industry by using alternative cinema as a medium and working with young talents and graduates of the national film institute Jos and also talents who has been to Berlinale talent campus, Imagine institute ouagadougou, durban and sittengi talent campuses South Africa and also talents who have worked for the BBC and some other international organisation who share the same dream to realise the dream.
saint maxzy is a director/writer and editor and he has directed several short films including; DUDS CULTURE, VISIBLE SHADOWS, QUESTION MARK, 17:09, IN DELE GIWAS SHOES etc. documentaries like POINT OF NO RETURN, LALLE, FINAL HOME amongst others as well as been AD on feature films JOURNEY TO GWASH, ELDORADO, LILLIES OF THE GHETTO which he doubled as the production coordinator. He is presently working on his first and second feature films, VICISSITUDE and IN DELE GIWAS SHOES.
