Poison

Poison

I wonder what you were thinking
that day
maybe I would change my mind
turn around and stay

I am not like the ones you
toyed with before
never accused of being that
sweet girl next door

If I take you
then I will take it all
and laugh
as you stumble then fall

One more time
until you cry my name
that will be the poison
I leave to run in your veins

Fool, I warned you from
the start
theres a touch of evil
in my heart

Nice!! Very cool little piece - 10 from me...........

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
