Poisons ,

No longer there to arise
but beware
behold this poison
there for I hide inside
Waite patiently to let go
deep down
no need to stare for these
passions
I dare to desire
sticks to your brain like no other
I yet to find the day I can there for
release these poisons of all walls
I can't let go
am I there or just some one to flea
no longer anticipated
the love I had for you
or am I an anticipate
a leash you can unrather
and throw away

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
