" Mother "
You could be as quiet as a mousewhile checking on her children
around the house.
You were always so strict and so
lean...for you knew then...there was
a big world out their I hadn't
yet seen.
When I was feeling down and out...
it was your hand I saw reaching out
giving me the benifit of the doubt.
The games we use to play..no longer
do we play...still I can remember
the times as if it weren't only
yesterday.
I can also remember when I was
really being bad...how you use to
turn things over to..."Dear Old Dad"
You have always shown me the way...
To give and to love each bright
and beautiful day...
My mother you will forever be....
For you are everything "warm" and
"sacret" to me.
I Love You Mom
