"Soul to Soul"

When old souls weep... they seek passageways...
through which their murmers may be heard...
They whisper... tales from enchanted times...
truths ... as they recall..
Once upon a time new... when God and men shared...
lasting moments.... on astral plains....
tween shifts of mutual aspiration....
for perfect inspiration.....in eternal hues.

Captivating minds... and bewitching hearts...
of those youthful explorers..... of words..... timeless...
...and seamless frontiers...
In universal cadence..... though half murdered...... their pain..
...their joy.... leap from form to script..
...alluding to resting places....
vaguely familiar to each writers thoughts...
yet permanently engraved in each writers dreams.

With the allure of nymphs...from times present.....
...future-past.........they appear...
...as natural aphrodiasics... to the rapturous minds and lips of scribes...
...in search of an eternal fix
Heroines and villians alike...emerge from ancient dialogues....
bout man.........and his God
  ..come to life.... bring anew.
sequential ochestrations.....through words paradise......
Paradigms..............for discerning views.... of shades of light....
amidst darkness in living.........a forbidden truth.

Using words as soft clay... old souls shape a passageway....
...meandering....sometimes in rythmic silence.......
Chimes......echo-verbs......befitting..
My ears breathe ....... listening..
...to sculptured pathways of harmonic tones....
of words multicolerd prism tiles...
my heartstrings play........

 Moved....by their complexed simplicities............I feeeel....
.un....worthy..........of such grand presence....
But who am I to resist.....this holy Grail...
Such bountiful harvests... of food for the soul....
from the soul... are these..

I submit to their poetic cadence.....
For when old souls weep...... they speak.......and... I am....
home in their embrace.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
