    "Who Am I"

     Who am I if I am not what I was meant to be?

    Just a dream or maybe someone's thought's?

    Confused and lost in a world that is.

    Who is this other person that I see?

    Surely it is not me!

    What is my purpose, here on this earth?

    Life without myself would be death!

    Anger has built up with this cell of a body.

    Hate is the cancer that kills slowly, destroying my mind and happiness.

    Where do I go from here?

    Who Am I?

    If not myself!

    I liked this poem a lot Dove, seems like we are all on a journey to find the answer to that precise question, yet once we think we figured it out, boom it changesd Good job!

    At first when I read the title I was all like, Moose!!! But than I read the poem and it's so true. If you're not yourself than what can you be? Surely not someone else because that other person already would exist.

    I agree with you, thank you for your comment. I try and write what I feel and what i am going through and have gone through.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
