    Raining in my heart

    Its raining in my heart
    Thunder and lightening
    Ripping through my happiness

The trees shading me from the heat
No more, standing tall like the oak
Been cut down blocking my gladness

One after another the shingles from my rooftop is
Blown across red skies at sunset
Making my home vulnerable to the raining in my heart

The stars that once guided my path
Fell to the ground that Friday evening
When the doctor said I know why you can’t walk

Come let me tell you the truth
I’m sure it’s MS, but let’s rule out cancer
Get a spinal tap, more blood work come back next month
