Remaining Embers

Remaining Embers

It could be anywhere
In the thick of woods
Of the Mountains
On a beach
Early morning

Where campfires were built
Nothing remained but
Ashes

In a moment
The sun may have shined
Upon the cooled embers
To bring some glow
Back to the fire

It may have been
A glance cast this way
A gentle whisper
For one’s heart to sway

A spark ignited
To relight  the flame
Of desire and passion
In one’s heart
Once again
