Sammys poem
Copper pennies, copper wire
Bright and shiny Russian spires
The suns first kiss of mornings air
Like copper highlights in sammy's hair
A childs wonder lights her eyes
Since swaddling child, thru years gone by
A smile to big for teeth to fill
A tender heart, an artists zeal
A dreamers mask most anyplace
Will steal upon that pretty face
Composed and still, her thoughts abloom
She's all alone in a crowded room
To have a child is a wonderful thing
But to have a wonderful child ...
How can I thank God ?
And she is but one of five
And all are gentle thoughtful folk
Each their own No two alike
Except
In their difference to the rest of the herd .
I am a wealthy man, without a dime to my name
I am extraodinarily ordinary
I am blessed by God almighty
For services not rendered
My heart is full
I bend my knee
Thank you
