    Searching

        I stare at your face, as your eyes search me. The person I know isn't behind or in those eyes searching.
       The loneliness and mistrust should be branded on my face. The secrets and confusion I see struggling on your face, written on your eyes.
       I hear your words, claiming your undying love. Yet your eyes say nothing to mine, except deception and a secret life. I hold my body to invite you closer. You stand where you are with hollow, loveless eyes staring back into me. The darkness I see in your eye, scares me. Searching, searching thats all I see.

    it's called a poker face, you never let anyone read your face or your eyes, people who master it are cold, and unemotional, beautifully written

    I've learned to watch his eyes. His words are very few. And I have a habit of smiling and saying everything is great, but my eyes have the story of a life time.. Thanks for reading..

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
