Shadow's kiss
Shadow's kissthat painful devotion
that lingeres on Darkness's lips
a slowly growing sweet addiction
Shadow's whispered words
Darkness's lost soul
once whole
now forever empty
the realization
of Shadow's sweet seduction.
Shadow's kiss
Shadow's kissA poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
