I hate that I remember dreams about cat food.
I know what it looks like, I don’t need to see it in dream form.

It's sort of that feeling that you've been here before
    but the wall's red now.
The rug is smaller and that chair
    looks infinitesimal. Crush it.
    Sit on it.
    Crush it.

I went back home today and all I got was a lousy memory.
I dream of cat food and it looks like legos.
I'd like to play with legos.
    I used to.
    I used to.
I wanted to but I used to, I can't do something I'm used to.

Today I went back home and all I got was some cat food.
    Gave it to my cat.
    She stared.
    I stared.
    She stared and ate.
    .
    .
    .
    New place still empty.
    Need more chairs.

This just makes me think of Tron. I wanna see a free style or something. You know, I still have a lot of the poems you wrote in high school. I printed them out. I don't know if you knew that.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
