Sleeping Love
As I watch you sleeping in the nightI reminisce about our past
Feeling the love you always give
Many said this wouldn't last
From a simple touch
To your shining smile
I often see the twinkle in your eyes as you gaze at me
Always knowing that you'll go the extra mile
I think about everything since we've met
Arguing sometimes through the years
Memories I'd rather just forget
Bringing us both to tears
I see our future and we're growing older together
Sometimes I'm blind and do not see
I never meant to cause you any pain
You're only giving me all your love to me
I'll continue walking down this road with you
Living to love you another day
I'll never be ashamed
Thanking GOD he fave you to me, I'll out loud say
Listening to the sound of my heart
Each moment continuing to share
Our life's history together
Never worrying that you don't care
These memories will never again come
Creating more and more each and every hour
So close to my heart they'll always be
That's what gives our love this power
These fond thoughts
Keeps me awake as I watch you sleep
No doubts, not fears, no question marks
Your love I accept and will forever keep
