Slow Dance in the Shadow of the Sun
I flirted with the sun,
Snickering underneath its rays
the beauty of its radiance captured my honesty
I winked, blowing a kiss in the air.
The pressure that overwhelmed me started to flee
as I meditated on the moment unwinding into ecstasy.
A desirable comfort generated in its warmth
I watched and gazed in peace.
At last, I felt integrated by its joyful shine
I didn’t feel misplaced, no worries, not a care
No insecurities, just contentment
consumed in a soothing rendering
The wind started to blow
creating a sweet whistling rendition.
My spirit wandered freely to its angelic melody
I stood up to embrace the moment
Although I desire an adoring richness
I’ll deliberately remain calm
close my eyes, relax and enjoy
the Shadow of the Sun as we commence to dance slowly.
