Suicidal Love Story
I saw you in the hallway and took the opportunity of watching your every move.
When you turned my way and met my eyes I thought to myself, "Is my heart supposed to fly?"
Breaking the gaze I felt my face as a hot, uncomftorable sensation began to sprout.
And I asked, "Is this really what love is about?"
It's the end of the day and we all go home,
But in my mind I stand alone to bear with the heartwrenching feeling I have inside me.
When night time comes and all are sound asleep,
A thin, sleek razor appears from beneath.
The correct thought that we can never be turns the switch on for a life of misery.
As the blade pierces my flesh, I see the bright red poison that drips from my veins.
Another slip, then a nick or two and the first dreadful night is through.
Morning breaks and it's time for school,
That means another torturous day without you with me,
Then I saw her on your arm and a single toxic tear burned on my cheek.
From that day on I knew it is not meant to be.
On my way home I fantasize about the future.
Where I'm with you and there is no more torture.
Then I lock myself in my room and cry all night long,
I let more poison spill from my veins, with burning tears pouring down my face.
Life isn't the same as it once was ever since I saw you in the hallway,
I can burn on the sun.
I can look up to the stars and visualize your face, staring back I have chosen my fate.
So I wander alone in the streets of disgrace when I hear a loud noise come screaming at me.
Then those big, bright lights coming over the hill,
When they appeared out of the darkness I waited for my chance then wandered on the cold pavement and took my solid stance.
You will have no idea that this was for you.
So I left this world with no pride or glory,
And now so ends another suicidal love story.
When you turned my way and met my eyes I thought to myself, "Is my heart supposed to fly?"
