Sunset, Twilight, Night/ It Will Rain

Sunset, Twilight, Night/ It Will Rain

Sunset, twilight, night.

Sunset's fire and final flight.

Twilight hums with quiet death,

Night breathes a cold, lightless breath.

When will the sun come up again?

In my time, it will never suspend.

and this is how it will remain.

Until the end of time, it will rain.

It will rain the stars

and leave unseen scars.

until the world ceases to spin,

and watercolor sunsets turn grim,

It will rain.
