Sweet Memory
Let absence come
Pause once more to feel my breath upon your ear
Sweet nothings are no more
Your torture is a sublime silence
As my laughter taunts you
Close your eyes and hold my memory in your rib
My flesh remains in your teeth
My taste clinched in your jaw
Fresh of a supple peach as my blood drips from your lip
If my smile has faded
Reach out your hand
Remember each strand held in your fist
As the other plucked the symphony
Swaying to your pulse
Your song pressed my lips
When my arms are no longer felt in yours
Breath in slightly
To smell the pureness of dew
Recall the shutter of my shoulder
And the reach of your back
As you release the world
When the tears finish falling
Seal your eye, lend out your arm and respire
Is it a sweet memory?
Pause once more to feel my breath upon your ear
Sweet nothings are no more
Your torture is a sublime silence
As my laughter taunts you
Close your eyes and hold my memory in your rib
My flesh remains in your teeth
My taste clinched in your jaw
Fresh of a supple peach as my blood drips from your lip
If my smile has faded
Reach out your hand
Remember each strand held in your fist
As the other plucked the symphony
Swaying to your pulse
Your song pressed my lips
When my arms are no longer felt in yours
Breath in slightly
To smell the pureness of dew
Recall the shutter of my shoulder
And the reach of your back
As you release the world
When the tears finish falling
Seal your eye, lend out your arm and respire
Is it a sweet memory?
