Take A Break
It's time to take a break!
Take a vacation with someone you dearly love,
Time to smell the wild flowers along the way
Time to taste the sparkling sea,
Feel the brine and wind on your skin.
Relive the many summers you travel at sea,
Bask at dusk, marvel at the sky
Littered with sparks reflected on the green lagoon.
Rediscover your humanity--
How fragile, nimble you can be
Events pass you by, loved ones departed and gone
Another life springs!
Your heart finds its home
Your feelings find its eternity
in every passing day.
As the moon wanes, the tide waxes... trees unleaving.
You swirl and follow the vortex of life
As it rise up ever so slowly, and
Shoosh back to the ground.
It's time to take a deep breath!
