    Tell Me Your Secrets

Tell me your secrets, they're all safe with me
I don't want to tell, I just need to see.

When the glory of dawn has all gone away
Glory is glamour, a day's just a day.

So tell me your secrets, they're all you have left
With all that surrounds you, still you're bereft.

Your void is my void, no borders down here
Just sketches of dreamscapes, drawn in the air.

Tell me your secrets, they're not even real
Naked of substance, none left to steal.

    beautifully written.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
