Today I bow
On bended knee before you
Saying “Thank You, I appreciate you”
Yes, I know you don’t accept thank you’s
But this thank you is from the heart
Without you I would be lost
You are my pillar when I need strength
You are my sanity when I am going insane
You are my anchor in life’s stormy ocean
I have already shared a life time with you
Sometimes you may think I take you for granted
This is just to say thank you, I appreciate you
Always being by my side whenever I may need you
But especially for being by my side
When I did not realize how much I needed you
