    Thanksgiving

    His Power consumes me.
    Takes over my body.
    The feeling is unexplainable.
He rules my heart and soul
    And I rejoice in it.
For my life would cease to exist
If I had not His Love.
    A Love that spreads
    Throughout my world.
I see and feel It wherever I go.
In the sky, on the land
In my home, in my baby child.
For with His Love, He teaches me
    To Love with His Greatness.
    I thank the Lord God
For all He has given me.
For without God in my life,
My world would be a vast nothingness.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
