    That Deceitful Snake

God Had a plan, so He created both the Heaven and the Earth,
He formed man, and made woman, eventually it led to my birth.
By the time I was born, sin was already established in Society,
my parents tried to raise me right, but the Devil had ahold of me.
I was so confused on who to serve, the Devil or the Lord?
people tried telling me right from wrong, but I soon got bored.
So I struck out on my own, I would determine my own fate,
my parents both prayed, I would change before it was too late.
I decided it was more fun for me, to lead a life of crime,
but I'll tell you this, I had my doubts when I had to do some time.
In the Big House at eighteen, I was cast out of my so called Society,
so I told myself when i get out, I'm done because time isn't for me.
But back to the streets I went, and change people did not see,
doing the same old stupid stuff, guess I didn't want to be free.
Locked up once again, yes once again a victim of Mr. Sin,
but this time will be my last, for I now have Jesus living within.
I don't blame no one but me for my sin, mankind made no mistake,
but I often wonder how LIFE would have been, if not for that DECEITFUL SNAKE.
