  • Hatred should be obsolete, and love a praiseworthy feat, but no, life doesn't work that way.

Poem Commentary

Hey...Sorry if you don't like it I'm new here(: I'd love to meet new poets and I really enjoy constructive criticism !

The End.

His eyes narrowed against the opposition of reason,
Forgetting all in his spite.
He screamed at the world,
Until he could scream no more.
His life was empty,
He had no more reason.
So he quit.
The endless battle that he had fought,
Fighting pain,
love,
and regret.
But the only way out was to give in,
and he gave up.

Thanks I'm glad you like it(:

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
