The Gurl in 7th Grade

The Gurl in 7th grade is fine as eva,
But i cant tell her that cause i might get fried by otha brothas
Wanna talk to her get to know her, but im afraid to do that
Afraid that my words might shoot out the blue
Not having a clue at what i just blew
That pretty 7th grader walking down the hallway
With that pretty smile that i cant turn down.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
