The Man That Loves Us
Such love He showed to you and me,
He was flawless, as white as the snow, you see.
Heaven was searched for the perfect sacrifice,
For you and me He came to earth to pay the price
He left His home in Glory
So that He could tell us the Story.
The story of glory and how wonderful it will be,
To be His children to love for eternity.
He told us about a father’s plan,
Of building a bridge across a great span.
Only through Jesus are we able to cross,
Into this land of wonders, but at a cost.
Jesus came to be the sacrificed Lamb,
To fulfill a Father’s Plan.
He was beaten with straps and was cursed and lost.
He walked down that long road bearing a wooden cross,
The crowd showed no mercy for His saddened state,
They were thirsty for His blood and filled with hate.
He wore a crown of thorns upon His brow,
To show us how much He loves us without one doubt.
Down the long narrow street He bore, up to that lonely hill.
pushed and beaten down to where He have to kneel.
They threw His frail body upon the hard wooden tree
they hammered the nails into his precious hands and feet.
What anguish and pain this man from glory endured,
To save us from sin and Satan’s lure.
Get on our knees and beg for mercy,
Ask for forgiveness of being so unworthy
What man would go through such betrayal to save our souls from Hell.
His name is Jesus, Learn it well.
He was flawless, as white as the snow, you see.
Heaven was searched for the perfect sacrifice,
For you and me He came to earth to pay the price
He left His home in Glory
So that He could tell us the Story.
