The Midnight Poet
I can hear the whisper of the night
as I write poetry at midnight for
I am the midnight poet
I am not evil for I am the guardian
of dreams and the stars of the
soul and protector of the night
Time has no meaning to me for it is
always night in the realm of
dreams and I will make dreams
peaceful and remember the night
is only your connection to the
realm of dreams and imagination
so fear not you will not
have nightmares so says the
midnight poet

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
