    The Night Feeds

My roost is a haunting gargoyle
    Atop this beautiful church
I watch the streets, the people there
As Death sits upon this perch,
    Instead I watch and wait
    For you to come along,
    In one fell swoop
    You would be mine
And never a soul would know
So be thankful for the days you have,
    For I am watching you
    I will feed tonight,
    This glorious night,
It may well be your last adieu.

I LOVE THIS POEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we think a lot alike! its good to know someone out there has a similar "dark" side..lol very cool poem. keep it up!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
