The Night Sky
The sun plunged into the sea
Upon it’s rising, the moon had startled me
Its kind shine showed me how things are supposed to be
That you should be right here with me
All the stars sprawled out and spelled your name
This distance isn’t fair; it is the one to blame
How can every single night be the same?
It is my heart you claim
Your arms embrace me inside my dreams
When I wake I find nothing is what it seems
Look at the moon for me, mi amor, look at its beams
Do you see the same night that’s in my dreams?
Oh, baby, I need you so badly
I’m being driven crazy so madly
I look at your picture so sadly
Come here and hold me…
