    The Ride

I sit here pondering how my life just flew by
I lean back in my chair and heave a big sigh
I have wasted to much time with alcohol and drugs
I should have embraced love with kisses and hugs
But I chose a life of evil and sin thinking its the way
Only to deteriorate with the ultimate price to pay
It would be nice to start over with all that I know
But my body won't take it, it's the end of the show
So take care of yourself and don't live as I tried
Live a good life and enjoy the Ride
