    The Scene

A Sunset the mountains, a clear blue stream
Nothing holds beauty as much as the scene,
The scene of our savior who paid the cost
He never once asked will it reach all the lost?
He knelt to his Father in hopes of escape,
But knew nonetheless it was not the final fate
It only gave chances for all the worlds sinners,
To turn to the Savior and all of Gods givers
The price was paid from a tree made to a cross,
Reaching out his life in exchange for all who were lost
Where then could you find such a wonderful love?
Look only to one Father in heaven above,
Who then do we ask who is worthy for the gates?
Only for the forgiven who walk with Jesus by Faith.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
