    The Woven Flame

                     We put the candle
                     on the dresser.
                     As the flames wove together
                     the shadows
                     of our naked bodies,
                     your fingers softly
                     caressed my growing erection
and you held me in your hand
                     as I caressed your breasts
                     and nipples in the night,
                     lit by a single flame.
                     I laid on my back
                     as your warm mouth cupped
                     my hardness eager for
                     your lips and ecstacy.
                     This was a moment
                     private and intimate,
                     held in a oneness
                     by our desire
                     and love.

                     We kissed and your tongue
                     found mine
                     in the warm excitement.
The flame of the candle illumined
your beauty as you laid back
                     in the bed
                     as I sucked gently
                     on your breasts
                     and you moaned
                     urging me to gently bite.
                     Then I turned around
                     and my hardness found
                     your willing mouth
as I bent and kissed your warm
                     moist center. I wanted
                     to go deep inside you.
                     I needed to touch
                     the deep inside
                     of your passion
                     so I stood behind you
                     as you guided me
                     into your softness.
                     I plunged and you moaned,
as I moaned, while our bodies
                     moved in unison, alive
                     to every feeling.
                     And then unable to resist
                     no longer, I let go
                     of the explosion
                     in a fever of love,
                     and you joined me
                     in your sching release.

Poetikkk I loved your poem so much my heart is pumping hard, the emotions that your poem produced me took my breath away, I just think you can capture the sensuality of the 2 bodies loving each other in a way that it is so erotic and yami..I almost envy the woman on your poem, love the use of your words and you were explicit but not vulgar...loved it

The candle totally set the scene for me...you put the reader in the room with that first line...for me, this was incredibly elegant...spoke of a man truly willing to take his time to touch...I felt it - keep writing!

Thank you very much and I am glad you experienced the poem which is what I tried prompt in the reader. Success in writing is when the writer and reader connect which closes the circle. Again, appreciate the comments.

    i gave you a 9 :)

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
