    Their Sting Fills Me with Poison
    I hate when my family looks down upon me
     - laughing and mocking and humiliating.
    Poking my fears they aggravate scars;
    reproach what I care for and hurtfully mar.

    If it's my fault, me that provokes -
    I will never admit it for they become worse.
    My tone may be harsh, my words very mean,
    but only because they incessantly sting.

    I may not hold back, and give it my all
    to condemn what they claim and pull myself tall.
    I will fill them with guilt and make them regret
    they ever so dared to mess with my stead!

    I hate when my family looks down upon me
    for that's when I lose my humility.
    Snide indignation abounds in my head
    as I crudely declare my callous revenge.

    If contempt from family breeds revenge, humility is an old rumor. When the passions collide, find a common place to stand, before the family is the next casualty. This piece moves quicklly through heightened emotion and resolve of attitude running amuck: Great poem! Applause Building!
