    These Eyes of Mine

These eyes of mine are a crystal green
    When looking into them
    You'll see what I mean
At times you can probably see right through them
I have too when I've looked in the mirror
Who can see it more clearer?
I put my shades on so that feeling will be gone
    You can't see me now
It's said they are the windo to the soul
Oh wait there's just one big hole
    Nothing to see
    So just let me be
    My eyes are closed
    But I can still see
That feeling I mentioned lies beneath
Give me a minute so I can breathe
    They've seen plenty of tears
And in the end will show no fear
    Do you get?
Or do you choose to forget?
    Let me think
Or should I just see a shrink?
    Ya, their still hollow
And I choose not to follow
These eyes of mine are my own
    Yours, your eyes
    What are they like?
    Can I look into them?
Just let me take one look and see
So I can finally let you be
