This Game Called Life
Moment by moment; day by day,
We're destined to live our life this way.
Never kowing what the future holds;
Suspenseful hours, all untold.
Whether it's Winter, Fall, Summer, or Spring,
We'll never know what tomorrow will bring.
For life is just a "game of guess,"
We have to take it as it comes and hope for the best.
Tomorrow may bring sorrow, pain, heartache, or doubt.
So many of the things we could live without.
Or perhaps, it'll bring happiness, peace, faith, or love.
No one can say, and no one can judge.
Not knowing the future, can fill us with doubt.
But we must keep believing, all things will work out.
Our trials are for a reason. No matter how small.
So, we must pick ourselves up whenever we fall.
Moment by moment; day by day,
We're destined to live our life this way.
But if we're strong, we will survive,
And succeed in playing, "this game called life."
