Those Words
What if this man you loved so much crushed you with the mouth he use to kiss you with. That same mouth that he spoke those sweet words, those words that use to make you weak. Made u want him more and more everyday.But those sweet words turn into sour words. Killing your soul and spirits, but you sit and you take it. Thinkin that he might just be going through some things. Little do you know is that he's doing this to hurt you, to destroy you. He no longer cares about you, hasn't for months now. But thats when the words of affection cease and the words of a harsh reality start.
That reality that caught you off guard, and made you think what did I do wrong. She was always on pins and needles when he came into the room. He got pleasure of mistreating you and verbally abusing you. But you stay, you take the beating to your soul and your ego. Crys at night into your cold pillow until he walks out the door and never comes back
