As I sit here surrounded by the chaos
feeling it in the air not wanting it near
to each there own choices and to what
    the ripple may bring
into my life I ask for not a single thing

let each make there own choices and
    reap what they sow
I am left not wanting to be surrounded by
    the misery that it brings.
Out of this circle I choose to be
no one can change my life but me

To the Lord above you have heard my plea,
and into your hands I commit everything.
I think upon peace love and happiness
wanting no more and or no less

life is a walk we must all endure
and to what it brings we are unsure
so onward I tread not sure
    of the mountains ahead.

how steep they may slope is not up to me
but into my life HE is bringing strength.
Above and below we shall tread and
not I wonder how often this will be read.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
