Poem Commentary

:)

Till The End

Where’s my soul

Where’s my life

Somewhere too far away from home

I wish I could dream again

Like a child running in the pouring rain

With no worries

With no pain

My mind is lost now between two worlds

I want to come back to my childhood

And never return from there

This is my hope

And then I can survive till the end

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
