    TOMORROW NEVER CAME

As i lay in your chest and listen to your heartbeat,
i hear rythms of songs saying that it's not with me you belong,
and  that it's not my love you need
tears run down my cheek yet my face shows no expression.
Could it be that i too may no longer love you in this world that we lie and say i'll love you more when tomorrow comes; knowing that tomorrow may never come for it is not promised?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
