    Tomorrow.that.Never-Was

Now......that my poison is deep inside of you.
    Feel my disease enter you.
    Venom.....clings to your racing blood-cells.
    The dark-lair awaits your distress
    poor, wretched little thing
    you have lost your wings
    torn away by my fangs
    weep, ........weep for your
    lost state of flight.
    Where is your freedom.......Now?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
