    Touch My Lips

    Touch my lips softly
    Reach into my mind
    Sense the love lingering there
Discover what it is you’ll find

Time is but a troubled child
Waiting for the hours to pass
Floating on wings of silent surprise
Every time I hear you laugh

Your smile haunts me like fog in the dark
Wishing I could hold your hand all night
Looking deep into those soft, brown eyes
Feels like gliding into a very bright light

I can hear you, feel you, yet not touch you
My heart longs to hold you hard
Your voice sings at me from afar
Yet all I can do is send you cards

Kiss me, my love, kiss me tonite
In your deepest dream take me away
Carry me of soft wings of love
    Remember me yesterday, tomorrow, today

Lie naked with me, hold me soft
Remind me what I love about you
Let us forget the thoughts of society
Remembering only the sky and ocean blue

Fly with me to romantic locations
Sleep with me until the sun goes down
Dance with me under moonlit skies
Laugh with me over dinner and clowns

Kiss me hard with all of your passion
As I kneel on the knees of my heart
Waiting to hold you tight to my body
As this journey continues with love as a start

this is such a "true" romantic...touching poem. i feelmen are more romantic than women!!!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
