Trials
God gives you trials
He gives you tests
They say he never gives you more then you can bear.
My shoulders are not broad
My back no longer strong
My body aches
I am tired
Tears may flow, but where do they go?
Valleys seems endless, yet I have found a peak or two.
The sun shines down, yet it is covered quickly with the gloom of clouds.
No longer does it make sense,
I prayed that part was over, but
Again grief rears a ugly head over the days and rules the darkness
It invades my dreams, over takes my thoughts.
I pray that out of this will come bright new days.
When I can not tell
Where I do not know
If
My head swirls with sheer exhaustion
I pray for a peaceful sleep.
For somewhere this must stop and I will start anew.
