    Tricksters

Coyotes will not eat my flowers
    They will not
Sneak down from the high ridges
    Waving their little red books
    Chattering about end times
    And of course the beast
    Some have pretty petticoats
    Coyotes with pretty petticoats
If you want to see their pretty petticoats

    Talk to their lawyers!

    Wednesday Sunday they don’t come
    Tied to their little churches
    Comforting their sinners
    Coyote crow and raven
    Fox news TV dinners

    I plant from faith

Just stay away from my garden

    I plant what I can
    When fall comes.
    And if you come

    You’ all
    I have guns
    You’ll fall
    Its American
It’s the right thing to do!

    It’s my act of faith
That one day I can sit down with Jesus
I can break bread with Jesus
    Show our flowers to Jesus

And ask him what the fucks going on.
