    Turning Away

Sitting here day to day wondering if i am just turning away

Hiding in my shell waiting for the next person to turn me over just so i can turn away

Knowing that all i am capable of is just turning away

Giving up so easy because its easier to just turn away

Turning my head and not seeing everything in front of me because i turn away

One day i want to just turn around and not turn away anymore

Finding ways to just run and not face the truth and just turn away

Holding something in my soul is what i long for without turning away....

So many things come to mind from readings this. I can't help but wonder the meaning you had for writing this. Is it love, confrontation, acomplishment, or maybe something else. Nice write.

It was a little of all at the same time including hope also. Things flow and I never really read them until they are done. I am an optimist at heart but we all have our days of longing and hope, and hope would be a part of it also.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
