Poem Commentary

I've been debating on whether or not I should make this a song. What do you think?  I know it needs work but I like it the way it is.

Two Hearts, One Chain

Two hearts, one chain.  Your heart and mine are one in the same.  They maybe separate but connected through love.  Two hearts, one chain.

When I first saw you, never thought this could be so true.  You made my heart race the first time I saw you.  Never thought this day would ever come.

Be strong, take my heart and wait for the moment to come.  take my moments and my days let them flow for you alone.

Take my voice and let it sing.  Love must be sincere.  Get your heart ready for action.  I'll be lost in wonder and love.

Love that springs from the hope of eachother.  Be strong and take my heart, take my heart it is yours.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
