UNLOVED
She yearns for affection
Something she can't find
She just wants love
Someone to be kind
He says he cares
Yet doesn't show it
Maybe someday he will
After the fires lit
He doesn't see them
All of her tears
He doesn't help her
Get past her fears
She tries so hard
While he sits there
Taking her for granted
Still so completely unaware
She wants to leave
She's packed her sack
Just keep on moving
And never look back
She grabs her stuff
Crying enough is enough
Something she can't find
She just wants love
Someone to be kind
He says he cares
Yet doesn't show it
Maybe someday he will
After the fires lit
He doesn't see them
All of her tears
He doesn't help her
Get past her fears
She tries so hard
While he sits there
Taking her for granted
Still so completely unaware
She wants to leave
She's packed her sack
Just keep on moving
And never look back
She grabs her stuff
Crying enough is enough
