Valentine's Ode

Today on valentine’s day
My feelings for you I know
In me are now to stay; and
I wish from you never to stray.

Tho’ been often told:
Distance makes hearts grow fonder;
Our bonds I feel never in strength faile’
In no season we felt our emotions pale.

Years slowly pass us by
As our dreams shoot sky high
Together sail we shall
Not tempted to any stray call.

My heart today at your feet I lay
A declaration; a tribute today I pay
My desire with you to always sail
I disclose today in my valentine’s ode.
